Philip Archer

Spanning a career of 45 years, Philip has provided strategic management consulting, executive coaching and mentoring, human resource advisory and executive search services across a diverse range of industries and has worked with high profile individuals. A key aspect of his consulting services has been assisting organisations with business and strategic planning, training, restructuring, and change management whilst mentoring and coaching leadership groups and individuals.  

Philip has a strong personal interest in providing the guidance and support that aids the development of leadership careers.  He is the Managing Director of The Archway Group, a boutique human resource consulting firm that focuses on building teams for businesses. Philip is the Chairman and Founder of Arcadia Business Advisory and Creative, a business that specialises in advising SMEs, and Mid-Tier Corporations including Family Businesses, in how to future proof themselves by successfully traversing global financial and trade markets, supply chains, and seize opportunities using Environment, Social and Governance (ESG), as well as Artificial Intelligence (AI). Additionally, Philip is Development Director for Xenti AI, a start-up consulting firm in the technology sector.       

With a very strong commitment to community service, Philip has had a major involvement with Rotary International for many years. A Charter Member of the Rotary Club of Southbank, Philip holds and has held several Rotary Board and leadership positions at Club, District and Zone level. Philip held the prestigious role of District Governor for District 9800 in 2020-21 - the 100th year of Rotary in Australia. He has also been a Director of Rotary Foundation Australia Limited.

In touch with the rapid changes in business today, Philip has, on numerous occasions, been invited to speak to industry forums, organisations and associations on various human resource and business issues. He has also served as a Board Member for Principles for Social Investment, an initiative of the United Nations Global Compact to provide an ethical foundation and the guidelines for social investment. He holds several board appointments across Business, Supply Chain, and Not for Profits.
